Hire Charges for residents of Nacton parish are £35 for a session of up to 5 hours. In addition a refundable Deposit of £100 against damages or non compliance with conditions of hire is required for evening events on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday, or at the Booking Secretary’s discretion.
Unfortunately due to damage and disturbance issues we can no longer hire the hall to non-residents for evening parties. Other hires are at the Booking Secretary’s discretion.
Hire Charges for non-residents are £70 for a session of up to 5 hours. In addition a refundable Deposit of £200 against damages or non compliance with conditions of hire is required for evening events on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday, or at the Booking Secretary’s discretion.
For Nacton residents, payments must be made a minimum of 10 days before the booked date otherwise the booked slot may be offered to others. For non-residents a minimum of 50% must be paid immediately to secure the booking, then the remainder a minimum of 10 days before the booked date.
Payment details are below but please do not make a payment until your booking has been confirmed by the Booking Secretary. No entry to the hall is permitted before the hired time and you must lock the hall by the booked end time and vacate the area. In any event, all music and loud noise must cease by 11.00pm and the hirer and attendees must completely vacate the hall and area by 11.20pm. No Barbecues or Fireworks are allowed and Bouncy Castles allowed outside only. No dogs except Assistance Dogs are allowed inside the hall buildings, but they are allowed in the grass area to the front.

We can no longer accept cash except in exceptional circumstances, by arrangement with the Booking Secretary.
Deposit refunds will be made by Bank Transfer, for which we will need the name on the Hirer’s bank account, sort code and account number (not needed until after the hire).
If you cancel a booking within the 10 days before the event, any Deposit will be refunded but only half of the Hire Charge. For cancellations made more than 10 days before the event, a full refund will be given.

The Booking Secretary will reply by email or if requested by telephone, to confirm a booking and arrange payment, or to resolve questions.
Before making a booking you must read the Conditions of hire and indicate with the tick-box that you agree to comply with them and you must agree to the Hall secretaries holding your personal information and being able to contact you with matters relevant to the Hall as required under the General Data Protection Regulations and explained in the Hall's Data Privacy Notice.
Please do not park on the pavement as there are several users of mobility scooters in the village, nor on the white lines which mark driveway access or passing places (H Lines).
